Terms
friendpush is being tested with invited people. These terms describe how it works today and will be reviewed by a lawyer before it opens to everyone.
Using friendpush
friendpush lets you make a contact card, hand it to people, and keep it up to date for everyone who holds it. It also lets people pass your card on to someone new — with your permission. By using it you agree to these terms and to how we handle data, described in the privacy policy.
Your card is yours
You own what you put on your cards. You let us store it and show it to the people you choose, in the ways you choose — that is the whole service, and we use it for nothing else.
Only your own details
Put your own details on your card, not someone else’s. friendpush only ever passes on a person’s own card, with their say-so, and depends on cards being what they claim to be. Don’t use it to pretend to be someone else.
Be decent
Don’t use friendpush to harass anyone, to send unwanted requests in bulk, or to collect people’s details for purposes they did not agree to. Don’t try to get around the limits that protect other people’s details. We may suspend or close an account that does.
Asking and passing on
When you ask for a card or pass one on, the card’s owner decides. They may say no, and they don’t have to say why. Once they have given someone their card, they can take it back at any time.
While we’re testing
friendpush is new and still changing. Features may change or go away, and there may be times it is unavailable. We work to keep your data safe and the service running, but we provide it as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes.
Leaving
You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it stops your card working for everyone who holds it.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
